ive been thinking about taco and balloon forming a little alliance post s1/ pre s2 where they'd (begrudgingly) work together planning on how to break into hotel OJ to steal stuff to take back to their makeshift camp like food, blankets, pillows, etc,,, anything that could be useful to them

#UGH TUMBLR DIDN'T SAVE MY DRAFT R U KIDDING ME WROTE A TON #ok let me go over this again as i remember #balloon ends up encountering tacos makeshift camp wandering in the woods #i like to think balloon makes close to zero noise when he walks around #kinda floats around if u will #taco figures she could use this to get balloon to sneak into hotel oj to get her stuff #well. she tells balloon its “for the benefit of both”#balloon and taco parallel eachother in so much #both of them put up a “mask” as a strategy to further into the game which lead to both of them losing all of their relationships after s1 #although both of them eventually ended up feeling guilty for what they did it took taco much longer #i think their alliance worked decently well for a while but balloons guilt and need to apologize is what drove them apart #by the time of that one scene s2 ep7 where balloon goes up to apologize and has his conversation with oj they'd already drifted apart #i think I'll doodle some more stuff with them eventually im still waiting to my charger to come in the maaaailllll #all of this has probably already been pointed out but im having fun and they've been on my mind a lot lately #so #shrugs #im screaming into the void #ii taco #ii balloon #inanimate insanity

#the angst potential is so juicy #I understand why it might not be everyone's cup of tea but I like the idea of them being so 'toxic' for each other (after the portal #incident. if they met before I think they'd be pretty healthy and wholesome)#like. Fidds is already kinda losing it because of the memory gun and Stan is grieving. they're not in a mental state for a relationship #Stan would hit him with his car by accident and then try to gaslight him that 'no that never happened you're imagining things'#and Fidds would be pretending that Stan is actually Ford or trying to use the memory gun on Stan to make him believe he IS Ford #or. my favorite yet. the one I have as 'canon' in my head. they end up in a messy relationship but Fidds thinks Stan is Ford #and in tge end Stan can't keep pretending and he ends things or something #there's also the more 'happy' versions. where Fidds is still sane enough to help Stan work on the portal. more clothing (featuring Mafuyu and Haruka)

#two things that bug me:#One: the match up. Previous duos were reasonable and in unit. But...I think Mafuyu and Haruka never interacted in a meaningful manner #I can reason it with them being both seawings..which makes sens but it's such a stupid compromise ong #Second: I initally wanted to go with my usual two designs but this time I noticed that they actually matched quite well so ig it's 1.5 #nitpicks aside: more trying things out. I was a bit unsure how to tackle seawing clothes since cloth wouldn't be handy underwater...#but then I thought “But what about making cloth that resemble radiolaria?” and threw all reason away I suppose #It's fancy but not fully it...the armor was fun though. i don't fully think the shoulderplates are that well executed but still it's good i #I do think I'll do art like those without the clothing though #It helps portray bodyshapes better like how Mafuyu's bulkier than Haruka. Context:

Bill trapped Ford in a bubble, screwing his view of reality. In order to trick Ford, Bill has repressed his memories and manipulated him into believing that he lives with Bill back in the shack where they're both working to complete the 'portal'. Bill's goal here is to get the equation he desperately needed in order to escape Gravity Falls.

An important thing to note is that whenever Ford remembers, the whole scenario resets.

#and this is part two! this is the last content I've made for this AU since I redesigned my Bill.#i don't know if I'm ever going to make more about this AU #I like to think that they'll both be stuck in the never ending cycling. Maybe it'll end one day?
